Jim Churchman, Stuntman and Creator of The Flying Hero Club

James (Jim) Churchman is a Hollywood stunt coordinator. With a career spanning 25 years, Jim has nearly 100 credits. Some of his most notable works include Marvel movies such as Doctor Strange, Ant Man and X-Men: Apocalypse. Jim is also the founder of The Flying Hero Club, a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving children with cancer the opportunity to fly like a superhero using movie stunt equipment.

Jim’s presentation focuses on the value of students connecting their studies to real world application through the lens of being a defiant teenager, his career and how much more he could have achieved if only he had paid attention in school. From a 9-year-old on a dirt bike - to a bright Hollywood career - to finding his soul, Jim learned how to give back and discovered that human connection is the key.
